Why all adults should read children’s books…

In amongst all the chaos of life, you get to travel inside a giant peach, ride on a broomstick, walk through a magical wardrobe, or visit an incredible chocolate factory. You can cast a spell, solve a mystery, drink a potion, or ride on a dragon. You will make friends with giants, fairies, leprechauns, wizards, knights, and pirates. You will go on adventures and find secret places. You can speak to animals, become invisible, and even save the world. Your imagination will break free and come alive once again as you sit upon a flying carpet and watch as dreams come true.

Everyone needs to escape once in a while. Everyone needs light-hearted fun. Everyone needs to remember the child inside of them.

Life is full of hardship, sadness, and loss. We need to find the joy wherever we can to help combat the negativity in our world.

Seek the magic, the fun, the adventure, the hopes, the dreams, the weird and the wacky. Look for it all.

And above all, watch with glittering eyes the whole world around you because the greatest secrets are always hidden in the most unlikely places. Those who don’t believe in magic will never find it.” Roald Dahl
